The new file is in this link. 

Details of why I want to change the data:
The old version extended from 64.5°S to 79.5°N, while the new version (v2) extends from 89.5°S to 89.5°N (i.e., global), although the added grid cells are just missing values (NaNs). The new global file format will make it easier to compare e.g., with global models.
