I was trying to address an error a colleague found in some of our cruise files when I found some other errors instead**. The errors I found were with expocodes that did not have letters in the ship codes, which got rounded into scientific notation somehow, erasing the date info from the expocode! I didn't have any copies with this error in them on my end so I am wondering if there is some NCEI process that might have changed the expocodes in this way before posting them? I have corrected all of them in the attached four files that should replace the files currently on the website. The files that should go on this page are those with the same names but today's date. The other file should go on this page. If you want to see which expocodes were changed, you can look at all the TN and AQ cruises from the CRUISE_ID column. Thanks and all the best, Simone _____ Simone Alin, Ph.D. Supervisory Oceanographer, NOAA Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory Affiliate Associate Professor, University of Washington School of Oceanography Tel.
