Source: Wei-Jun Cai/Univ.of Georgia submitted this data set to CDIAC in 2014.
This is a part of the CDIAC Ocean data transition to NCEI archive. Data files were copied from 
CDIAC web site. The data set originally was submitted to CDIAC in February 2016 by Agneta 
Fransson and Melissa Chierici of Norwegian Polar Institute as part of the R/V Oden 
Beringia_2005 data set.

Action(s): The original data and metadata files were transferred to NCEI from CDIAC.
The data and metadata were transferred to the directory of data/0-data/ after data 
evaluation. NCEI personnel extracted the longitude and latitude data, and plotted a 
sampling station map. Both the generated longitude latitude file and the sampling 
station map were saved in the about/ directory. 

Files:

about/
This directory contains files created by NCEI staff, email correspondence,
and other 'negotiable' information between NCEI staff and the data provider.

0164210_lonlat.txt - 
  Contains station locations for these data.  Each row contains the
  geographical position where these data were collected (longitude in the
  left column and latitude in the right column, both in decimal degrees).
  NCEI may have corrected or omitted geographic positions that seemed to be
  in error when generating this file.  However, NCEI did not change the
  original data files under the directory data/0-data/.

data/0-data/
This directory contains the data files as transferred to NCEI.

*.csv - Comma-separated-value (CSV) files are the original data files sent by data 
providers to NCEI, these data files are in /0-data directory. 

*.txt - original metadata file in .txt format transferred to NCEI from CDIAC.
