Source: These data were downloaded from the Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis
        Center (CDIAC): http://cdiac.ornl.gov/ftp/oceans/PACIFICA/PACIFICA_Database/
	as per agreement between NODC and CDIAC.

Action(s): The original data files were uncompressed and transferred to the 
	data/0-data/ directory. NODC personnel extracted the longitude and latitude 
	data, and plotted a sampling station map. Both the generated longitude 
	latitude file and the sampling station map are saved in the about/ directory.

This directory contains files generated by NODC with ancillary information
about the data submission.

0-email.txt - Email string between NODC and Alex Kozyr, CDIAC, resolving the use of
	adjustment table, PACIFICA_adjustment.csv. 

0110865_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data. Each row contains 
	the geographical position where these data were collected (longitude in 
	the left column and latitude in the right column, both in degrees). NODC 
	may have corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error when 
	generating this file. However, NODC did not change the original data files 
	under the directory data/0-data/.

This directory contains the original files that were downloaded from CDIAC.

NDP_092.pdf - Documentation of the PACIFICA data synthesis project. 
	
PACIFICA_Database_unix.csv - Data product file. 	

PACIFICA_adjustment.csv	- Ajustment table for the PACIFICA data product. Please 
	note that the PACIFICA data product have already been offset by such 
	adjustments. See 0-email.txt in the about/ directory for more information.
