Source: These data were downloaded from the Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis
        Center (CDIAC): http://cdiac.ornl.gov/ftp/oceans/SOCATv1.5/ on January
	25, 2013, per agreement	between NODC and CDIAC.

Action(s): The original files were uncompressed and transferred to the directory of 
	data/0-data/. NODC personnel extracted the longitude and latitude data, 
	and plotted a sampling station map. Both the generated longitude 
	latitude file and the sampling station map are saved in the directory 
	of about/.

This directory contains files created by NODC staff, and email correspondence
	with the data producer. 

0101726_lonlat.txt - Contains sample locations for these data. Each row contains 
	the geographical position where these data were collected (longitude in 
	the left column and latitude in the right column, both in degrees). NODC 
	may have corrected geographic positions that seemed to be in error when 
	generating this file. However, NODC did not change the original data files 
	under the directory data/0-data/. 

0101726_map.jpg - Sample location map generated from listing of longitude and 
	latitude coordinates in 0089233_lonlat.txt.

This directory contains the data files as submitted to NODC.
