C================================================================================================================================== C C Metadata from Cruise Report: (Report COCC 89-03) C During the passage, Pat Bay to Tuktoyaktuk, pCO2 and CH4 were sampled from the atmosphere and the C surface seawater via the seawater loop every hour and analyzed by the HP Gas Chromatograph. The C data, including loop seawater and equilibrator temperatures - wet and dry temperatures, was stored C on HP85 magnetic tape. The MANUAL program was used to run the GC system as the SAT NAV receiver C was not used. Position data was recorded on SAIL from Pat Bay to Point Barrow. Point Barrow to C Tuktoyaktuk positions were entered into a Symphony (spreadsheet) file from hourly positions C recorded from the bridge. SAIL was turned off at Point Barrow - it was not understood that SAIL C was providing all our positioning data. SAIL will run for the whole cruise on the Southbound passage. C C There was no data July 23, 1200-1500 due to ground fault problems - the engineers turned off the C power in half the afterlab during this time. July 24 the CO2 atmosphere data was omitted from the C data table - stack gases due to a following wind. The pCO2 - CH4 GC system ran well for the C duration of the cruise.
